About Me as a Designer
I'm a UI/UX designer based in Indianapolis Indiana. As a designer, I'm passionate about team collaboration, design systems, and shipping amazing pixels. My start in the design field was largely encouraged by a few teachers in high school that noticed my passion for drawing things. I pursued both Photoshop and Drafting classes and in the end, I fell in love with crafting visual designs.
After high school, I pursued an education that would equip me to be a graphic designer. This education was largely print-based, with an emphasis on design fundamentals. After school, I quickly found I had a massive interest in marrying my skills as a designer to working with code. Code allowed me to craft not just visuals, but totally nerd out on the ability to measure my efforts and meet company goals. Since that time I have driven myself to learn all I can about the process of designing digital products. Today, I work for Brotherhood Mutual as a Marketing Web Designer. At Brotherhood, I design and build websites that generate leads and profits.

Outside of work
I'm a family man first, an outdoorsman second and a tinker third. I love my wife of almost 4 years. She is my first passion and my whole life really. Together, we are raising our first son and a little fun spirited pup. Our lives are built first around family and the ability to serve and love them.
I also love the outdoors, in fact, the time I spend away from the computer is often where I feel most inspired to continue creating. Outside of those two things I love to push my design abilities further with side projects, trying out new design tools and working in the physical space with woodworking projects.
